Dec. 6, 2018, CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON

Our client (a major five-star hotel corporation) faced serious charges on account of alleged misappropriation/encroachment on public land (seashore – beachside area). We have successfully acquitted our client of all criminal charges.

Jan. 10, 2019, INHERITANCE COURT CASE WON

The Court ruled in favor of our client; and overturned gifts/parental gifts (made by the testator inter vivos), by considering restrictions that should have applied in favor of the “dishonored” heir; as such, the latter (our client) was awarded an approx. 175,000.00 euro in “forced-share inheritance right” (“nomimi mira”).

Jan. 14, 2019, LABOR LAW CASE WON

In a labor law class action against a major Greek company (S.A.)/employer, the Court ruled that temporarily employed workers should enjoy the same level of monetary privileges as the permanent personnel. The Court granted to our clients a total of approx. Euro 500,000.00.

Apr. 2, 2019, CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON

Our client faced serious charges on account of alleged criminal threatening/intimidation. We have successfully acquitted our client of all criminal charges.

Apr. 17, 2019, CIVIL COURT CASE WON (injunction measures)

The Court in Kefalonia ruled in favor of our client (defendant) and dismissed the plaintiff’s allegations in reference to alleged “improper” and unauthorized use of cultivated land of substantial agricultural value (olive groves).

Apr. 19, 2019, CIVIL COURT CASE WON (“Ktimatologio” dispute vs. the Greek State)

The Court ruled in favor of our clients (plaintiffs) and accepted our lawsuit, granting to our clients the ownership of inherited land (under dispute by the Greek State).

Jun. 4, 2019, CASE AGAINST THE GREEK STATE WON

We have successfully recouped (from the Athens tax office for foreign residents) an amount in the area of 70,000.00 euro for our clients (US residents) that the Greek State had unduly – unlawfully imposed and collected as taxes from clients’ deceased father.

Jun. 18, 2019, CIVIL COURT CASE WON (compensation lawsuit)

Our clients – Greek Americans and US residents – have been the victims of unscrupulous and illegal behavior of their previous representative (Greek attorney) who had misused the Power of Attorney granted to him; sold assets unbeknownst to clients; and embezzled the sale proceeds. We were successful in proving the event; and obtaining a ruling in favor of our clients, in the approx. amount of 175,000.00 Euro.

Jun. 25, 2019, CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON

Our office represented the criminal complainant (victim) who had suffered injuries in her workplace (assaulted by a colleague). We have successfully prosecuted the defendant; obtained a “guilty” verdict (jail sentence of one year); and secured compensation for moral damages in favor of our client.

Jun. 26, 2019, “Ktimatologio” CASE WON (before the Committee of Objections)

We have defended our client on adverse possession tactics (exercised by a Greek relative to her detriment); and secured in her name, her Greek property with Ktimatologio (which was in the process of being encroached upon) – having successfully argued our objection at the relevant Committee and without resorting to civil court litigation.

Jun. 27, 2019, CIVIL COURT CASE WON (injunction measures/labor law dispute)

Our office was successful in winning a practically “impossible” case (noting that many other law offices have tried the same recourse and failed); we have obtained a court order, by which it was acknowledged (for twenty-seven clients of our office working as fixed-term employment contractors at a major Greek utilities company) that their work circumstances are not seasonal but instead, bear the characteristics of work/labor covering fixed and permanent requirements! As such, our clients remain employed, despite the contractual “termination” of their so-called “employment term”.

September 30, 2019, CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON

Our client has pressed charges against the owner of the vehicle who has fraudulently attempted to convey same by falsifying legal paperwork; despite the defendant’s allegations and the fact that a different person was presented to our client during the transaction (as the owner), we have convinced the court that the defendant/car owner was in fact responsible for the fraud, using third parties as a cover.

Our client was accused of filing a false/misleading solemn statement with the tax office. We have successfully countered the accusation and acquitted our client of all charges.

October 25, 2019, EYDAP (water company) related dispute.

Our client had been billed an approx. 2,500.00 euro in water consumption. We have successfully argued the case before the EYDAP committee and were successful in reducing the above debt, down to 19.00 euro!

We have successfully exonerated our client/defendant of all charges in relation to reckless driving and causing injuries to a motorcyclist.

December 19, 2019, DIVORCE CASE WON

We have succeeded in obtaining a (heavily litigated) Divorce ruling in favor of our client (the Husband), despite jurisdiction and other complex legal issues (due to the parties partially living outside Greece, having a non-Greek citizenship etc.).

December 31, 2019, CIVIL COURT CASE WON

We have succeeded in securing compensation for our clients (majority co-owners) as a result of the unauthorized use of their property by a single co-owner of the same property – calculated at above market price rates.

January 14, 2020, JUVENILE – CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON

We have successfully exonerated our client of ALL charges against him, related to “bullying”, illegal violence and sexual coercion.

February 20, 2020, CIVIL COURT CASE WON

We have successfully secured our clients’ (US residents) property on a Greek island – consisting of sixty one pieces of property, following a 6 year judicial struggle and litigation against their Greek relatives, who had misappropriated and registered the properties to their names (taking advantage of the fact that our clients resided abroad).

We have successfully and fully exonerated our clients (Limited Company Administrators/Directors) of ALL criminal charges related to tax evasion offences (in the approx. amount of 450,000.00 euro).

April 6, 2020, Successfully enforced a foreign court ruling in Greece

Successfully enforced a foreign court ruling in Greece; “froze” debtor’s bank assets and collected for our client, the full adjudicated claim of approx. 120,000 euro.

May 20, 2020, TEMPORARY COURT HEARING

Temporary court order hearing at the Piraeus Administrative Court; we have succeeded in securing a “freeze order” for our client, i.e. the suspension of a penalty imposed against his business on the grounds of allegedly employing uninsured workers.

June 4, 2020, APPEAL COURT CASE WON

We have successfully assisted our clients-defendants in a civil action (originally defeated in the 1st level court proceeding and ordered to pay compensation for moral damages, defamation etc. to plaintiffs) and overturned the original compensation ruling against them. The court of Appeals deemed that no grounds for defamation existed and dismissed the plaintiffs/ opponents’ claims altogether!

July 8, 2020, CLASS ACTION WON

We have successfully litigated against a major Private School/Institution in our capacity as the representatives of 22 employees (teachers, staff etc) of the School with labor-law related claims. We have succeeded in getting the School’s assets frozen – including the assets of the private individuals/school owners (as a way to satisfy clients’ claims).

We have successfully exonerated our client (a business owner) of ALL charges related to forgery, fraud and contraband – whereby we have successfully prosecuted client’s former business partner, who has been found as the (sole) guilty person for all charges that burdened our client.

We have successfully represented our client/criminal complainant (a British national, who has been defrauded by a local constructor to whom he conveyed the amount of approx. 150,000 euro) and secured a 6-year prison sentence for the accused/opponent.

October 12, 2020, CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON

We have assisted our client (a UK national) in getting a European warrant of arrest, revoked and annulled – as a result of which client’s detention has been terminated.

June 9, 2021. CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON. “NOT GUILTY”

Ruling for our client before the Court of Appeals in Kefalonia (client previously convicted by the 1st instance court for negligent construction work which had resulted in the amputation of the victim’s arm).

We have successfully countered and dismissed a court action (injunction measures) against our clients’ property (adjacent owners unlawfully seeking to claim for themselves a part of clients’ property as well as “passing-through” rights).

September 8, 2021, CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON. “Not guilty”

Ruling (Athens Court of Appeals) for our client, who was charged with tax evasion exceeding the amount of 600,000.00 euro (and had been originally convicted by the 1st instance court with a sentence of three years in prison).

October 19, 2021, CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON. “Not guilty”

Ruling (Athens court) for our client, who was charged with theft of electrical energy.

November 11, 2021, INJUNCTION MEASURES/TEMPORARY ORDER HEARING WON. “Not guilty”

Successfully countered/dismissed Bank’s claim/motion to have our clients (former members of Board of Directors of a company) assume representation/liabilities/obligations on behalf of the company they represented.

November 17, 2021, CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON. “Not guilty”

Ruling (Appeal Court of Felonies, Chania, Crete) for our client, who was charged with drug trafficking.

November 18, 2021, CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON.

Our client (criminal complainant) filed a criminal complaint against the person who slandered his professional reputation at the Zone planning office of Glyfada. The court ruled in favor of our client and ordered (against the defendant) restitution in the form of compensation and a letter of apology in writing.

November 30, 2021, CIVIL COURT CASE WON.

Our clients (Australia residents) prevailed in our court action against Greek relatives, who have forged a Will to deprive them of their lawfully inherited assets. The Court has been convinced of the alleged Will’s circumstances; annulled same; and ordered the defendant to cover the complete cost of plaintiffs’ judicial fees (including the payment made to the graphologist).

Ruling for our clients (defendants) who were charged with zone-planning relevant offences (constructing houses without permit etc.)

January 19, 2022, CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON. “Not guilty”

Ruling (Athens court) for our client, who was charged with theft of electrical energy.

February 8, 2022, INHERITANCE RULING (Court of Pyrgos).

Obtained ruling in favor of our client (an adopted child), by virtue of which inheritance rights have been awarded (to client) in the estate of his biological parents (in spite of the adoption ruling).

February 10, 2022, Successfully acknowledged a US court.

Ruling (despite the Greek court’s original rejection of the petition) by virtue of which a Greek citizen’s changed name (as per a US naturalization proceeding) should be upheld and acknowledged in Greece (with the respective change of the name details, as those were previously registered in Greece).

March 2, 2022, CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON. “Not guilty”

Ruling for our client, who was falsely accused of intentionally damaging the complainant’s property.

March 11, 2022, CIVIL COURT CASE WON.

The Court threw out (on technicalities) the opponent’s lawsuit against our client, after we have pointed out for the Court the improper service proceedings (failure of proper/Hague Convention regulations compliant service on our client, a US resident).

March 30, 2022, CIVIL COURT CASE WON.

Successfully issued a ruling in client’s favor (permit to sell real estate held by minor child), despite the (initially) apparent lack of jurisdiction of the Greek court.

April 11, 2022, CIVIL COURT CASE WON.

We have successfully issued a court ruling by which the court acknowledged (and made up for) the missing/destroyed vital records of client’s ancestors in Greece – so that client may proceed with the registration/acknowledgment of her Greek citizenship (despite the missing/non-existent records of her grandparents etc.).

April 11, 2022, CIVIL COURT CASE WON (COURT OF APPEALS).

The Court rejected opponent’s Appeal against the 1st instance court ruling; and upheld our clients’ position/request regarding a property division (dianomi) by auction.

April 13, 2022, CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON.

Our client was found not guilty of the charge: arson by negligence.

May 3, 2022, CIVIL COURT CASE WON.

Our client was awarded 157.000 euro, after the court found that he has rightfully disengaged the contractor (to whom he had assigned the building of a house) due to the latter’s delays in fulfilling his due diligence.

May 19, 2022, CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON.

Client found not guilty of the charge of arson on sailing boat, by negligence.

June 29, 2022, CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON.

Our office represented the victim of an altercation incident (at the workplace). We have successfully upheld the original (1st) instance court ruling, on the count of dangerous bodily harm, against the accused, while ensuring that no liability/responsibility has been attributed to our client for the incident.

September 14, 2022, CIVIL COURT CASE WON (Rhodes 1st instance court).

The court granted our claim for a complete compensation in favor of our client (a British national), who has been defrauded by a local constructor. Further to the complete claim, our client has also been granted substantial amounts in moral damages.

September 19, 2022, CIVIL COURT CASE WON (Athens Multi-member court of 1st instance).

Our clients (defendants) have prevailed in an action brought against them by a relative, by virtue of which the latter sought to challenge and annul the conveyance of a property (apartment in Athens) to clients. The court dismissed plaintiff’s action and re-confirmed the ownership rights of our clients.

October 5, 2022, CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON (Athens court).

Client found not guilty on the charge of theft of electrical energy.

October 7, 2022, CIVIL COURT CASE (APPEAL COURT) WON.

Divorce ruling issued in favor of our client (plaintiff) at the 2nd level court (following the dismissal of the Appeal filed by the defendant).

November 3, 2022, CIVIL COURT CASE WON.

We have successfully obtained an EVICTION RULING (ahead of time, i.e. ahead of lease agreement’s contractual termination) by invoking Art. 69 of Code of Civil Proceedings.

November 10, 2022, CIVIL COURT CASE WON (Court of Appeals).

Our clients prevailed at the 2nd level court (as plaintiffs) in their claim against the defendant for arbitrary use of jointly owned properties; and were awarded back rents in lieu of compensation.

November 14, 2022, CIVIL COURT CASE WON (Acknowledgment of paternity ruling).

We were able to successfully uphold a US court ruling (regarding acknowledgment of paternity); and to dismiss the counter-action/intervention filed by Greek relatives against our clients.

November 21, 2022, CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON (Court of Appeals).

Our client, originally convicted (by the 1st level court) to a prison sentence as a result of tax-related offences, became fully acquitted by the 2nd level court (not guilty verdict).

December 13, 2022, CRIMINAL CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON.

Our client has been found NOT GUILTY of charges, wrongfully brought against him, on the counts of domestic violence/abuse/threat.

December 28, 2022, CIVIL COURT CASES WON (Volos Court of 1st Instance).

Our clients were defendants in actions against them, by which adjacent property owners sought to claim a part of their property (through adverse possession) and/or establish a right of passage for themselves. We have won both cases and dismissed all claims of the plaintiffs.

February 21, 2023, CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON (Naxos Court).

Our client has been found not guilty on the charges of negligent driving and causing bodily harm to a motorcyclist.

May 11, 2023, CRIMINAL COURT CASE WON (Rhodes 5-member Appeal court of Felonies).

We have successfully represented our client (victim of fraud) and upheld the original (1st level court) conviction against the defendant, who had defrauded our client for the amount of 150,000 euro. The defendant has been sent to prison to serve a 6-year sentence.

May 30, 2023, CIVIL COURT CASE WON/ MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE CASE (Pireas Multi-member 1st instance court).

We have secured a compensation (moral damages) of around 730,000.00 euro in favor of our clients, whose child passed away at the hospital, due to the negligence of the attending physicians & surgeons.
